We all make decisions about how we want to use technology.
Maybe it's using YouTube without falling into Shorts, keeping social media within limits, or putting your phone away when it's time to focus.
The hard part isn't knowing what you want.
It's staying with that decision when you're tired, distracted, or not paying attention.
Logs exists to bridge that gap — between how you intend to use technology and how you actually use it.

Completely. Logs is built local-first — your screen time and usage data stays on your device, never on our servers.
Sync across devices is end-to-end encrypted and peer-to-peer, meaning your data travels directly between your devices. Not even we can see it.
It means your data is locked on your device before it ever leaves it. Even if someone intercepted it in transit, they'd see nothing readable. When it reaches your other device, only you can unlock it.
Logs uses AES-256-GCM encryption — the same standard used by banks and messaging apps like Whatsapp, Signal.
On Windows, your data is also encrypted at rest on your device for an extra layer of protection.
